LEADERSHIP
COLLEGIATE DREAM TEAMInterned with a NonProfit organization called DreamOn3 in the Spring of 2023. DreamOn3’s mission statement is to create experiences of joy, hope, and encouragement for children and young adults with life-altering conditions through the world of sports. Internship included working with marketing directors to develop Dream Kid campaigns, creating social media posts and press releases, assisting management with the planning of a Dream Experience, and attending DreamOn3 meetings with potential donors.
DREAMON3 INTERNSHIPI started and led a club in Boone called the Collegiate Dream Team. I recruited and onboarded 14 club members who are passionate about serving those in their community who live with a life-altering condition. As a team, we were dedicated to fundraising for our chosen recipient and making their App State sports dream a reality. This opportunity allowed me to perfect my event planning skills and pay attention to detail through the planning of our recipients dream weekend. As a captain, this was truly a rewarding and eye-opening experience. Leading this club showed me that you will always find life when you give yours away. Giving my time and energy to this incredible cause will leave a mark on me for forever.
